who's the best among the 3???

my 1st blog hehe ... please bear with me ... always wanted to write but didn't have the courage to do so ... or rather, didn't have the TIME to do so hehe ...

anyway, my 2 sen worth (if it's still worthy hehe ...) :-

i have been following the malaysian politics with great interest, and i think anwar ibrahim is great, yes he is truly great ...

BUT anwar ibrahim cannot and will not be able to challenge dr mahathir. dr mahathir is my idol, a true political genius ... no matter what anwar said or done, he cannot beat dr mahathir, period.

so, dr M is better than anwar ibrahim.

the question now is whether dr mahathir is the best?

well i wish he is but he is not!

the best among the 3 (2 mentioned above and the 3rd is ...) pak lah. yup, you heard me right, pak lah, the simple man n supposedly to be very clean, ahem clean man ... is the best among the 3. why?

the answer is simple, anwar cannot beat dr mahathir BUT dr mahathir cannot beat pak lah ... no matter what mahathir said or done, attack pak lah, boycott pak lah, quit umno to pressure pak lah to quit as pm, he still cannot defeat pak lah until today.

SO, pak lah is the clear winner!!

and who is the worst loser? not pak lah not dr mahathir not anwar ibrahim ... but we are!!!

perhaps the oldies or the veteran should leave it to younger generation like us to decide on our future!!

my 2 sen worth ...

It is sad after half century of democratic independence we are still talking about political ideology and corruptions. How could the nation move forward and progress.
Do we still need more time to understand the basics of human rights and freedom or good governance?
Enough to all this! We need leaders to give direction and progress. It is easy to fight corruption, anyone can champion it. (at he end of the day it goes down as BITCHING!)But no poitician dares or have any idea on how to turn this nation to a developed nation.
GROW UP MALAYSIAN

Your 2 sen thought might have some truth bro & I would definitely have agreed with you if not for this mind boggling 2 sen theory of mine. Mahathir, the so called master policitician, for some obvious reason, was the one who handpicked Pak Lah. Although later he indicated he had preferred Najib to the throne, it was a done deal. Well, men is in their nature make mistakes, so be it, if that was one of the blunder of the century. What Mahathir is doing right now is to constantly, without fail, breathing on Pak Lah's neck to make sure he wakes up and administer the country as he is suppose to. In the end, so much of Pak Lah trying to escape from Mahathirism, in the end he still needs DR. M to push him. Kudos to Dr. M. A genuine Malaysian.

I beg to differ with your comments....the Mahathir that was is probably someone you can idolise but the mistake he made in 1998 was fatal. It effectively deleted and undid all the good that he had done. And you have to agree that he is like a nyanyok old man now....he accuses the current administration of exactly the things he used to do when he was PM!!! Macam tak ingat je that he used to rule with an iron fist - org semua takut nak lawan dia. Tak boleh ada orang menentang dia langsung and org tak berani nak give different views or opinions. And he talks about freedom of the media. And banyak lagi la...

As for Pak Lah....just look at the current political situation in the country - it speaks volumes about his control and influence. Things are in such a mess!!! What kind of winner is that??? I think the only reason he is still in power is that people are afraid of doing something drastic, cos who knows what will happen to them and their periuk nasi? Cos at the end of the day, that's all these politicians care about anyway...their own well-being. They are just like lalang....swaying towards whoever is in power and will bring them the most benefit.

Anwar pulak....well...since I'm an Anwar loyalist, whatever I say will seem biased la kan...But I don't know how people can even question whether he committed sodomy or not. It's just not possible! Of course there are people who just hate him, and most of the time I have to just keep quiet, but at the end of the day, I still think he would be the best leader the country can hope for. Okay...okay...biased, I know...

Only one thing I agree with you. We, the citizens of the country, are the losing party right now. How much chaotic can the situation get anyway. So tired of it all. That's why I hate politics :)

With due respect to all, for once can we just put our heads together and act as 'One'... as a Muslim. I am very sure that we are aware of what is going on in the politics currently. Ya.. ya.. part of us is pro Tun, part of us are for Pak Lah and part of us are all out for Anuar... we know that in 1998 Tun had made a fatal mistake but with all that he had done to M'sia... there is no doubt about it right?! Pak Lah... no comment on him! Anuar, despite of him having the spirit to fight through, he is now occupied with the sodomy issue. Do we want this kind of leader? But on second thought, who is the best candidate?
Have our leaders including us have 'khosy-yah' in ourselves?? I am more concern with us being Muslims but not acting like one..

Memang betul...the root of all problems is that we are a so-called Muslim country but do not fully practice the Islamic way of life. If the Islamic way of life is not inculcated in all aspects of our lives, then we are vulnerable to doing wrong. Somehow, whether it was the way we were taught in school or otherwise, religion is separated from other aspects of our daily life. Religion is limited to the rituals like prayer, etc but when we do other things, religion is forgotten. If only we do everything based on the spirit of the Quran and hadith, then I believe this would be excellent guidance for mankind and we would be guided to make the right decisions. This applies to all of us...not just the politicians. Cuma politicians, being the leaders of the country, have that extra responsibility to do the right things.

By the way, what is "khosy-yah"?
